Growing up in a household where strong moral values are instilled ensures that individuals never forget their origins or the people they aim to uplift as they advance in life. Such is the inspiring story of cousins Seth and Tiffany Van Beek. Both born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, they later relocated to the United Kingdom. Seth, an exceptional commercial airline pilot, made history by becoming a pilot at the age of 18. Now 23, he boasts five years of flying experience. His cousin Tiffany has also established herself in HR, she is also a social media influencer with over a 200k followers across her social media pages. Despite their professional achievements, their hearts remain devoted to their homeland, where they have been funding education for underprivileged students.
A few months ago, Seth travelled to South Africa and engaged in an outreach program to feed children from impoverished backgrounds. This experience profoundly affected him, prompting him to share it with Tiffany. Inspired by Seth’s act of benevolence, they co-founded the Van Beek Foundation with the mission to give back to the community that nurtured them. Their decision to scale up their philanthropic efforts came from recognising the significant needs in the community they grew up in and their desire to create a lasting impact.
On June 29th, they will formally launch the Van Beek Foundation in Bulawayo. The inaugural event aims to feed 1,000 children and provide groceries to 200 families, it will take place at Mcumbatha Secondary School grounds in Nkulumane, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Leveraging the support of friends, family, and Tiffany’s extensive social media following, the event has attracted substantial attention from their networks. Seth & Tiffany will be flying in to attend the event and you are all invited to come and support.
The launch event has three primary objectives. Firstly, they will host a medical outreach program where volunteer doctors and nurses will operate a pop-up clinic, offering medical consultations and treatments. This initiative will provide essential healthcare services to individuals who may not have the means to access such care otherwise. Feeding the needy and giving away family humpers.
To ensure the long-term sustainability of their efforts, the Van Beek Foundation is committed to more than just immediate relief. They are exploring innovative solutions to create lasting impact, such as implementing industrial atmospheric water generators. This ground-breaking technology leverages atmospheric humidity to produce potable water, addressing the critical issue of clean water scarcity in rural communities. Discussing their vision, Seth stated, “Our long-term goal is to implement high-impact solutions, such as providing renewable energy to rural areas. Tackling energy and lighting issues is essential, and we are dedicated to finding sustainable solutions.”
The Van Beek Foundation will undoubtedly make a transformative impact on the lives of those they serve. Seth and Tiffany are dedicated to expanding the reach of their organisation, with plans to engage additional funders and volunteers. Their commitment to enhancing the well-being of their community is evident, and they are determined to broaden their impact in the coming years. Through their strategic initiatives and compassionate approach, the Van Beek Foundation aims to drive meaningful change within the communities they support.
