Nyasha Bandason is a Pharmacist and CEO of Summer Pharmaceuticals which distributes healthcare consumables and a variety of prescription medicines, catering to a broad spectrum of pharmacy needs.
With an interest in the field of pharmacy, Nyasha returned to Zimbabwe after staying abroad for a few years to pursue her professional practice. Her career commenced in retail, providing a foundational experience that led to the wholesale and distribution sectors, where she worked for a leading company among the top four in the industry.
She was inspired to establish her venture, HDH Pharmacy Consultants, to assist businesses interested in expanding into the pharmaceutical space be it through wholesale, distribution, or seeking specialised training in pharmaceutical marketing, which often requires a distinct approach.
Amid the entrepreneurial journey, she initiated a podcast in 2022. Recognising the vast amount of misinformation during the recent pandemic, she saw a critical need to bridge the gap between healthcare professionals and the communities they serve. The podcast aims to create an informative space, featuring colleagues and professionals across the healthcare sector who contribute to the health, medical, and wellness fields.
