iMoSyS, a Malawian tech company is at the forefront of designing groundbreaking technology. iMoSyS functions as a comprehensive technology conglomerate, specialising in software, hardware, and engineering solutions. The CEO and founder of iMoSyS, Mr Mayamiko Nkoloma is a holder of an MSc in wireless communication from University of Sheffield in UK. He also holds Master of Technology degree in advanced Information Technology with specialisation in Telecommunications and Networking from International Institute of Information and Technology (I²IT) in Pune, India. Apart from running iMoSyS, Mr Nkoloma is a Lecturer in Telecommunications at the University of Malawi, the Polytechnic.

With a simple tap of a button, users can swiftly summon critical services such as towing, ambulance services, waste management, mobility assistance, cleaning, fumigation, landscaping, fire response, and other technical services, among an array of other essential offerings.

By harnessing user data from the Alonda platform, valuable patterns and data insights can be extracted to aid authorities in formulating solutions for high-crime regions. Simultaneously, the platform aids entrepreneurs and corporations in making well-informed business choices.
When alerts are received, users can track the precise location of the alert sender in real time through the app, gauging their exact location and estimated arrival time. In an emergency, users can simply press the panic button in the app that corresponds to their specific emergency.
The alert is dispatched to emergency responders with pertinent details, including the sender’s name, the nature of the emergency, and their live GPS coordinates. An SMS containing the alert details is also sent as a failsafe, ensuring coverage even if the recipient does not have the app installed on their device.
