Nothing can stop an individual whose mind is set on success, Dr Gyamfi is a prime example of success without boundaries. Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi, a 22-year-old from Cape Coast, Ghana has become one of the youngest medical doctors in the country. He recently graduated from the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), earning praise for his achievement.
One might ask about trusting young doctors for such a huge task of making decisions as a medical doctor, without doubt, he will learn and become the best at it like in any other profession.
Kwaku was born in 2001, to a father who is a Business and Financial Advisor and a mother who works as a caterer. When he turned 5, he started his education early at Danem Royal Montessori School in Accra. His exceptional academic abilities made him excel quicker than students in his class.
He finished his basic education in 2014, and joined Prempeh College Senior High School at the age of 13. Kwaku graduated high school at the age of 16, which is early in Ghana school system. After scooping excellent grades, Kwaku was immediately admitted to the UCC School of Medical Sciences after he passed a rigorous entrance interview with flying colours.
Fast forward September 7, 2023, Gyamfi proudly walked the stage, officially becoming a medical doctor at the age of 22. The second child and only son among four siblings, he’s brought immense pride to his family and friends. Academically Talented Kwaku is now in his 4th month as a practicing Medical Doctor.
His graduation photos have gone viral on social media recently, sparking awe and curiosity about how someone so young could achieve such a remarkable feat.
